How We Got Here

Iain Rhys Beckett's passion for writing began in 1979.

After many years of receiving accolades for his writing and public speaking abilities, he began copyrighting in 2019.

Thank you for your interest in his existing works, as well as the upcoming stories and books, just around the bend!

A WORD FROM THE AUTHOR

"Everyone has a childhood. If you are fortunate enough to have happy childhood memories, please be thankful.

Memories of our pasts are not just stored in the recesses of our minds, we actually feed on them as adults.

They keep us going; they make us want to be better parents, better siblings,

better 50-something caretakers of our aging parents.

Happy childhood memories are priceless. Nothing else comes close,

because we are talking about a few critical, formative years.

It seems that no matter what our age, there’s still a kid inside of us.

Maybe you recall a favorite stuffed animal (still boxed up in the attic)?

Perhaps elementary school chums come to mind, or a cousin or two.

Is there a primer at home, a Dr. Seuss book, or a school book that helped you to learn to read?

Most people recall some of these things, but good writers recall most of them with alarming clarity!"
